There is no equal to the coordination of actions between Moscow and Minsk. This was announced on June 10 by Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov.

"The degree of coordination of our actions is simply unparalleled if we look at other states," Ryzhenkov said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel before the start of talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

The diplomat stressed that the country sees Russia's desire to end the conflict in Ukraine peacefully. In addition, Belarus offered its territory as a platform for negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian issue.

Ryzhenkov added that the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Russia also cooperate closely, as do Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.

"As for our foreign policy departments, we generally try to keep up with our leaders," he said.

On May 26, it became known that Putin and Lukashenko had a telephone conversation. The Russian leader thanked Lukashenko for his help in organizing a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war according to the "1000 to 1000" formula, which Russia and Ukraine agreed on in Istanbul on May 16.
