US President Donald Trump may refuse to mediate in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported on June 9 by Foreign Policy magazine (FP), citing sources.

"A much more likely scenario is one in which Trump will accuse both Moscow and Kiev of refusing to follow his instructions and refuse to actively participate in the negotiations," the article says.

According to the author of the article, Cameron Abadi, Trump may accuse the parties of refusing to listen to him and withdraw from the negotiation process. At the same time, Abadi noted that the United States is likely to continue to provide military support to Ukraine, but on a smaller scale, "if it does not cost too much."

On June 6, a military expert, retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, said that the United States could stop or significantly reduce military aid to Ukraine. According to him, the state will especially feel the lack of intelligence.

Later, on June 9, FP reported that the United States has no plans to stop the transfer of satellite intelligence data to Ukraine. According to the publication, these data represent critically important information for Ukraine.
