The foreign agent politician Shlosberg was searched

Lev Shlosberg, the chairman of the Yabloko political party, who was recognized as a foreign agent, was searched. This was reported on June 10 by a source of Izvestia.

The politician was searched in a criminal case on discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the source said.

Shlosberg was included in the register of foreign agents in Russia on June 16, 2023. The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation noted that the politician opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of information materials from other foreign agents, and also disseminated false information about the decisions taken by the country's authorities and their policies.

Later, on November 23, 2024, Shlosberg (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent) was detained at Pskov airport. The reason for the detention is the failure to fulfill the status of a foreign agent. After some time, the politician was released from the police station. According to the source, a laptop, a phone and a USB flash drive were seized from the politician.
