A schoolgirl found dead in St. Petersburg could have fallen through the ice

The schoolgirl who disappeared in March 2025 reached the Gulf of Finland, where she could have fallen through the ice. This was announced on June 10 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in St. Petersburg.

The investigation found that on March 11, the girl left the apartment in a stressful state and headed to the Gulf of Finland near the Yacht Bridge, where she allegedly fell through the ice. The body of a local woman was discovered on June 8 in the Bolshaya Nevka River.

"Investigative actions are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident, and a set of forensic examinations has been appointed," the agency said in a Telegram message.

On June 9, it became known about the discovery of the body of a St. Petersburg woman who disappeared on March 11. The dead girl was found on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It was reported that the task force that arrived at the scene identified her.
