A prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about the order to finish off the Ukrainian wounded

A captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Denis Romanov said that his command ordered soldiers to finish off the Ukrainian wounded in order to prevent them from being captured. Footage of the militant's interview on June 10 was distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"[The company commander] laid out instructions that when performing a combat mission, if a person was seriously injured, then he must be finished off. Kill him to the end so that he would not be captured and information about the brigade would not leak," said the captured militant.

Romanov added that the command of operations in the 59th separate airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carried out via messenger. Before the combat mission, a group chat was created in which communication was maintained within his company.

On June 7, a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrei Evenko, said that the Ukrainian command ordered the soldiers who had left their positions to be shot with a mortar. In addition, the militant said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked their own positions with Baba Yaga drones.
