Units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated two fires that broke out on the night of June 10 in Kursk. This was reported in the press service of the department.
One of them occurred in an apartment on the first floor of an apartment building on Olshansky Street. According to the rescuers, the burning in the room covered 5 sq. m. Gorenje.
"During the extinguishing, the body of a 67-year-old man was found. Three people were rescued from neighboring apartments, and two more were evacuated," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on its Telegram channel.
The second fire occurred in a private three-storey house on Nizhnyaya Kazatskaya Street. The fire department received a message when the roof was already engulfed in an open fire. 23 personnel and seven pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The total fire area was 98 sq. m.
On June 8, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Dagestan reported a fire at a recreation center in Makhachkala. It was clarified that a non-functioning two-story building caught fire on the territory of the base. Later, the republican ministry noted that the fire at the recreation center had been completely eliminated. No injuries were reported.
