In Khabarovsk, the regional court issued a guilty verdict in a criminal case against a 36-year-old local resident cooperating with the special services of Ukraine. This was announced on June 10 by the press service of the prosecutor's office for the region in the Telegram channel.

"In April 2024, the defendant established contact with employees of the special services of Ukraine and was assigned to collect and transmit information about military facilities in Khabarovsk. The illegal activity of the man was suppressed by the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory," the department said.

The person involved in the case was found guilty under Article 275.1 ("Cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state in order to assist them in activities against the security of the Russian Federation"). The court sentenced him to five years in prison to serve his sentence in a general regime penal colony with restriction of liberty for one year and six months, the publication says.

Earlier, on June 6, a court sentenced a resident of Omsk to 12 years in prison in a penal colony for high treason. It is specified that the attacker collected information about military equipment, strategic facilities, management and employees of a defense enterprise in the city. In addition, a local resident contacted representatives of the Ukrainian special services to transfer the data in the future.
