One person died in a fire on a fishing vessel in Primorsky Krai.

In Primorsky Krai, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminate a fire on a fishing vessel. This was announced on June 10 by the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.

"A 200-square-meter vessel caught fire at the pier in the Golden Horn Bay. According to preliminary data, 24 people have been rescued," the statement said.

It is reported that one person was killed.

Firefighters are currently continuing to extinguish the fire.

On June 4, Nikolai Pirozhkov, head of the Vladivostok Maritime Rescue Coordination Center, told Izvestia that a fire had occurred 250 miles (402 km) south of Vladivostok on the Iceberg fishing schooner in the Sea of Japan. According to him, the crew of 17 Russians left the ship on two rafts. On the same day, the prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the fire on the fishing schooner.
