US President Donald Trump has commented on the situation surrounding Israel's seizure of the Madeleine vessel, which was carrying Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg. This was reported by Newsweek on June 9, citing sources.

"She's a strange person. She's young and irritable. I don't know if this is real anger. It's hard to believe. I saw what happened... I think she needs to take anger management classes," Trump said, according to the publication.

At the same time, the US president noted that the Israeli government solves its problems without "kidnapping" Thunberg.

Earlier in the day, Thunberg accused the Israeli authorities of kidnapping after Madeleine was not allowed into Gaza. In her appeal, she called on her family, friends and colleagues to put pressure on the Swedish government to achieve the immediate release of all participants in the mission, including herself.
