The Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory has completed the investigation of a criminal case on the fictitious education of 70 foreign citizens at a college for subsequent residence permits. The agency announced this on June 10 in its Telegram channel.

"The investigation of the criminal case against the former director of the Regional Technical College educational institution and four of his subordinate employees has been completed. Depending on the role of each, they are accused of exceeding their official powers in organizing the educational process and organizing the illegal stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation (paragraphs "d, e" of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code, paragraphs "a, b" of Part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code)," the message says.

According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory, the defendants for two years organized enrollment and fictitious training in an institution for secondary vocational education. At the same time, students did not attend classes and did not take exams and qualifying papers.

According to the agency, the investigation materials have been sent to the prosecutor's office.

Earlier, on May 29, a criminal group in the field of illegal migration was detained in Yekaterinburg. The group members were looking for migrants who needed fictitious registration.
