Educational complex to be built in Vnukovo district in Moscow

The construction of the educational complex began in the capital's Vnukovo district. This was announced on Monday, June 9, by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.

According to him, 1,275 schoolchildren and 350 preschoolers will be able to visit the facility. Its area will be about 30 thousand square meters, according to the Moscow City News agency.

The school block will house specialized and universal classrooms, gyms, a media library, laboratory and research complexes. The kindergarten block has 14 groups, physical education and music halls. There will also be a multifunctional space with an assembly hall, NSN clarifies.

A school stadium will be built on the school grounds. There will be a multi-purpose playground for basketball and volleyball, a running track, a mini-football field, a long jump area, recreation areas and active games. There will be walking areas with shade canopies and two sports fields for the kindergarten.

The construction is scheduled to be completed in 2027, Moscow 24 notes.
