In an interview with Radio 1 on June 6, the specialist stressed that emotional burnout is an official disease listed in the International Classification. It arises from "emotional exhaustion, depersonalization of a person and some kind of diminution of dignity and personal achievements."

The approach of emotional burnout is indicated by a decrease in working capacity, mistakes, and unwillingness to work.

"Then there is a dulling of emotions, that is, there is a strong emotional neglect: there is no joy, anger, an apathetic state develops," Loseva shared.

After these symptoms, self-pity appears, which can provoke conflicts with loved ones. A person has an inadequate and strong reaction to stress, any nonsense can be a reason for a breakdown. In this regard, it is important to undergo diagnostic procedures.

"For example, it is enough for someone to get enough sleep and adjust their regime, to go on vacation. And some people need to work with specialists," the psychologist concluded.

On June 4, psychologist and logotherapist Olga Gnatenko, in an interview with Izvestia, stated that additional leave for burnout employees would not be effective.
