Strengthening family values discussed at the Trinity in Troitsk Festival

The III Regional Festival of Traditional Spiritual Values "Trinity in Troitsk" took place in Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region, from June 6 to 8. The Family Forum was also held as part of it. This was announced on the official website of the Russian Orthodox Church on June 9.

During the event, Gavriil Gordeev, general producer of Okko video service, president of the All-Russian festival of children's, family films and animation "Little Bear", pointed out the importance of a responsible approach to creating children's and family content aimed at uniting generations and strengthening spiritual and moral values in society.

"The attention to families in our region is constantly growing. We are systematically expanding the range of social support measures for families with children at the regional level. We also welcome having many children and help parents raising foster children. I am confident that the proposals announced at the forum today will become part of our overall demographic policy strategy," said Dmitry Semenov, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region.

During the forum, the speakers put forward important ideas and initiatives related to increasing the birth rate and creating a positive image of a large family.

As Bishop Pavel of Troitsk and Yuzhnouralsky noted, true love manifests itself through a willingness to give to loved ones. According to him, this process continues throughout a person's life.

"If we pay time and attention to others, show kindness, then family values and our society will flourish. We need to start with ourselves and learn to see each person as a person, not just a passerby," said the bishop.

The participants of the festival were shown various cultural and creative initiatives that were presented at the sites of "Trinity Rites", "Well Done fun", "Slavic meal" and others. In addition, performances by South Ural creative teams were also organized.

Following the results of the plenary session on June 6, a final resolution was adopted, which consolidated regional and federal initiatives to increase the birth rate and strengthen traditional spiritual and moral values. It is noted that the creation of a working group with the participation of representatives of all levels of government will make it possible to develop effective strategies and establish feedback with society.
