One person was killed and one injured when a car collided with a moose near Lipetsk.

On the highway near Lipetsk, a passenger car collided with a moose. The driver was killed, his passenger was hospitalized, according to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accident occurred on Sunday, June 8, on the Khlevnoye–Lipetsk road. According to police, a VAZ-2114 car collided with a moose that entered the roadway, after which it slid into a ditch.

As a result of the accident, the 33-year-old driver of the fourteenth was killed, GOROD48 writes. His 18-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with an injury and hospitalized.

On the same day, it was reported that in the Krasnokamsky district of Bashkortostan, two people, including a child, were killed when a car collided with a moose. The moose also died at the scene.
