- The political scientist allowed the transfer of the US military from the EU to combat migrants

The United States may deploy American troops from Europe to the country to deal with migrants. American political scientist Malek Dudakov told Izvestia on June 9.
He noted that Gavin Newsom will not be removed from the post of governor of California.
"[The suppression of the protests] could be a good reason to withdraw American troops from Europe and deploy them to fight migrants and the southern border of the United States in the coming months," he said.
Dudakov called Trump's decision to deploy the National Guard to suppress the protests justified.
"[US President Donald] Trump has learned from the bitter experience of 2020 and the pogroms at the BLM, when big problems were created for him, and he did not know how to react. Now he reacts as harshly as possible initially, hoping that he will be able to end the current conflict fairly quickly," he said.
The political scientist also noted that the governor of California is unlikely to be removed from office.
"As for Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, it is theoretically possible that there will be a recall campaign and early elections, but this campaign [may be] related to the recent fires in Los Angeles, and not to the current riots," Dudakov said.
He recalled that not only the governors of democratic states, but also the heads of liberal megacities condemn Trump's migration policy.
"The confrontation will continue. Trump is now threatening California with "choking off" federal grants. And California receives $150 billion a year from the federal government. It will be a serious blow. For example, rebuilding Los Angeles after fires and pogroms will be much more difficult if they (the California authorities. — Ed.) will not receive these federal grants," the political scientist noted.
Mass protests in California began after a police raid to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained. On June 7, Trump ordered the National Guard to be sent to the state to stop the riots, which angered the governors of 22 states, who saw this step as an "abuse of power."
