Lavrov pointed to Russia's readiness for diplomatic measures to achieve its goals.
The Special Military Operation (SVO) will continue, and at the same time, the Russian side is ready for diplomatic measures. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the Future 2050 Forum on June 9.
"Our operation will continue. <...> But at the same time, we are ready to contribute through classical diplomacy to achieving the goals of a special military operation, primarily to resolving humanitarian issues," the Russian Foreign Minister said.
According to him, the results achieved during the CBR will be formalized in legal documents.
Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a new meeting of the delegations would be required to exchange views on the draft memoranda between Russia and Ukraine. He added that although Moscow's vision of the Kiev regime has changed significantly after the terrorist attacks, it should be about continuing negotiations and the next round.
