France called on Renault to abandon the production of UAVs in Ukraine

Renault's factory for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine will become a target for the Russian Armed Forces. This was announced on June 9 by French politician Florian Philippot, leader of the Patriots party.
"Obviously, if a Renault drone factory is built in Ukraine, Russia will destroy it...> as soon as possible," Filippo wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The head of the party called on the company to abandon this venture, pointing out that Russia could completely stop the import of French cars, which would have a painful impact on the country's industry.
"The French must mobilize for peace: not a single weapon, not a single euro, not a single French soldier in Ukraine!" the politician concluded.
France Info Radio, citing sources, reported on June 8 that the French automobile company Renault will produce drones in Ukraine. According to the radio, the production of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will be organized jointly with a small French defense company "a few dozen or hundreds of kilometers from the front line."
