The family of the woman who killed her five-year-old daughter was not registered in the PD

In the Moscow suburb of Voskresensk, a woman strangled her five-year-old daughter after she asked for water, and then drowned her in the bathroom and cut her with a knife. This was announced on June 9 by a source of Izvestia.

"On the morning of June 8, the girl was watching cartoons and asked her 40-year-old mother to bring her water. In response, the woman tried to strangle her daughter with a robe belt, and when she lost consciousness, she drowned her in the bathroom and wounded her with a knife," the source said.

It is known that the family was not registered with the Juvenile Affairs Unit (PD).

On the same day, the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region reported that a local woman suspected of murdering her young daughter had been detained in the region. A criminal case of murder was opened on this fact (paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
