- A captured Ukrainian Armed Forces militant told about the defeat of mercenaries from Japan and Colombia by the Russian army

Russian military personnel defeated foreign mercenaries from Japan and Colombia in Sumy region. Anatoly Styagailo, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told about this on June 9.
"I saw Japanese and Colombians in Pavlovka. There are 10-12 Japanese people, a few more Colombians. We arrived there at night, and they gathered in about 20 minutes and immediately left. Then they said that they went somewhere wrong and they were all defeated, ran into Russian soldiers," he shared on the video, which is available to TASS.
Styagailo also added that he had met foreign mercenaries on the territory of a training unit in the Cherkasy region. Among them were citizens of Japan, Colombia, Poland, Ireland, the USA and Germany, adds "Газета.Ru ".
On June 7, a captured soldier of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrei Evenko, said that the Ukrainian command ordered the soldiers who had left their positions to be shot with a mortar. In addition, the captured militant said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked their own positions with Baba Yaga drones.
