"To calculate the bitcoin index, data on the prices of perpetual futures and swaps for the BTCUSDT pair from the four largest crypto exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX and Bitget) will be used," the website says.

According to the trading platform, the index is a weighted average of prices based on trading volumes on these platforms. The weights will be reviewed every quarter.

It is noted that the index can become a base asset for various financial instruments. It will be calculated once a day at 12:30 Moscow time.
