A kangaroo escaped from the Malinki Bird Park in the Rostov region.

A kangaroo that escaped from the southern park of birds "Malinki" is being sought in the Rostov region. This was reported to Izvestia on June 9 by the park's press service.

"Our animals are easy-going, they know people. But it is important to remember that this is a wild animal, so you should not try to make contact with it without the park's specialists, as you can scare it away," said Alexandra Lashko, the park's chief veterinarian.

It is specified that the kangaroo was last seen near the Ayuta neighborhood. Employees and volunteers are involved in the search. The park's press service said that if a kangaroo is found, it is recommended to contact the zoo.

On May 3, it became known that the prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod region organized an inspection after the wolf escaped from the enclosure at the zoo. It was noted that the visitors were evacuated, and the predator returned to the cage after a while. No one was injured in the incident.
