The media reported about 60 detainees at a rally in San Francisco

US police have detained at least 60 people who took part in "solidarity protests" against the migration policy of the administration of US President Donald Trump in San Francisco. This was reported on June 9 by The New York Times.
"At least 60 people were arrested on Sunday in downtown San Francisco," the article says.
According to the newspaper, the protest began peacefully near the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building on Sansom Street, but within an hour escalated into a tense standoff between demonstrators and police.
The law enforcement agencies clarified that at least two policemen were injured as a result of the riots.
Mass protests in California began after a police raid to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained. On June 7, Trump ordered the National Guard to be sent to the state to stop the riots, which caused discontent among the governors of 22 states, who regarded this step as an "abuse of power."
