Former Prime Minister of Ukraine declared bankruptcy of the country

Ukraine's refusal to pay its debt obligations and default means the bankruptcy of the country. This was announced on June 9 by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
"Ukraine is not one step away from default, but has been defaulting for a long time, not paying its obligations on time," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Azarov stressed that Ukraine exists only by receiving money from abroad. According to him, these funds are sufficient exclusively for urgent current needs.
"If a country acts as if it has defaulted, then this country is already bankrupt," the former Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
On April 26, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mikhail Tsymbalyuk said that for the first time in history, Ukraine's external debt exceeded 100% of GDP, which makes the country bankrupt. He clarified that in the United States, the country's government has also held talks with the World Bank. According to Tsymbalyuk, the Ukrainian side was denied a debt deferral.
