The Kremlin announced the need to continue negotiations with Ukraine.
A new meeting of the delegations will be required to exchange views on the draft memoranda of Russia and Ukraine. This was stated on June 9 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from Izvestia about the form in which the parties to the negotiations would respond to the memoranda.
"We will talk about continuing conversations. <...> [Russian Foreign Minister] Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov expressed his point of view, where he said that, <...>..> nevertheless, it is necessary to continue contacts at the working level, and President [of Russia Vladimir Putin] agreed with this," he stressed in response to a question about what would happen after Ukraine provided a memorandum on the settlement of the conflict.
