The majority of Krasnoyarsk residents did not support the activities of the mayor Vladislav Loginov, who was detained on suspicion of accepting a bribe. Semyon Sendersky, a deputy of the Krasnoyarsk City Council, told Izvestia about this on June 9.

"We asked Krasnoyarsk residents how they feel about the work of the mayor. 90% of Krasnoyarsk residents rated this work negatively," he noted.

According to the parliamentarian, citizens and deputies have been having questions about the work of the mayor for a long time. He explained that in August 2024, a group of deputies demanded Loginov's resignation for cartel agreements in the road sector, the sole conclusion of concession agreements and scandals related to the local asphalt plant, 49% of which belong to the municipality.

"Today, the city of one million has major projects to prepare for the anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the 400th anniversary, the metro construction project, and the gasification of Krasnoyarsk on behalf of the president. And all these projects need to be accompanied, in fact, which has not been done," said Sendersky.

Alexey Boikov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, stressed that Loginov's detention was expected for residents of the regional capital.

"Our faction in the city council and the legislative Assembly has repeatedly drawn the attention of both the security forces and the governor to corruption scandals in the city administration," he said.

According to Boikov, last year in the legislative assembly of the region he proposed to create a working group to identify criminal schemes of the city authorities.

"But at that time, the administration of our Legislative Assembly had not found or seen any prerequisites for this. But the Investigative Committee found the prerequisites," the deputy concluded.

On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported on the detention of the head of Krasnoyarsk. In addition, the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Svetlana Petrenko, said that Loginov was charged with accepting a bribe. Searches were conducted in the office, the house of the defendant and in the MCU "Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Landscaping", during which investigators seized documents related to municipal contracts.
