Russia's initiatives to protect children on the Internet have received a wide response in the world

Russia's initiatives on the sidelines of the Global Digital Forum in the field of child protection in the online space have received a wide response from the international community. 57 cooperation agreements were signed with foreign structures. This was announced on June 9 by Elizaveta Belyakova, Chairman of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment.

Representatives of Asia and the Global South showed particular interest in the Russian experience, expressing their willingness to share knowledge by inviting experts from Russia to conduct training events and lectures on digital literacy.

"The issue of digital child safety is on the agenda in most countries of the world today. Increasingly, foreign partners are turning to Russian organizations with a request for dialogue in order to adopt successful approaches and best practices. For us, this is a recognition of the high importance and effectiveness of our work," Belyakova said.

It is reported that one of the projects presented by Russia at the forum was the Digital Library project, a digital platform that combines expert opinions, proven resources and tools to help parents and teachers.

"Despite external restrictions and sanctions pressure, we continue to move forward. The global agenda for child protection requires joint efforts. The Russian side is ready to share its experience and contribute to the development of an international coalition where the safety and well—being of children is a priority regardless of borders," Belyakova stressed.

The Forum confirmed that Russian initiatives not only meet modern challenges, but also become the basis for building trust and partnership in the field of digital childhood in the international arena.

To protect children, it is necessary to combine technical solutions and educational measures.
