A driver who hit and dragged a child along the road was found in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

In Nefteyugansk, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, police found a driver who hit a girl in a Niva car and fled the scene of an accident. A 60-year-old local resident was brought to administrative responsibility under articles for not providing an advantage to a pedestrian and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to the <url> news agency, with reference to law enforcement agencies, the offender ran over a four-year-old girl last weekend in the 11th microdistrict in the courtyard of an apartment building. The girl got under the wheels, she was dragged several meters.

The child has a head injury and numerous abrasions. The man faces a fine of up to 45 thousand rubles and the deprivation of a driver's license for a period of 1.5 to 2 years.

Earlier, on June 6, it was reported that 12 children and two adults were injured when a tour bus overturned in the Khabarovsk region. The vehicle's braking system had previously failed. In total, there were 30 children in the cabin who were going on an excursion.
