A resident of Sevastopol was detained for storing large quantities of drugs in a garage.

A local resident was detained in Sevastopol on suspicion of drug trafficking on an especially large scale. This was reported on June 9 by the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

"The detainee, born in 1988, purchased large quantities of synthetic and herbal narcotic drugs through an online store and stored them in his garage," the department's press service said.

As specified, 0.8 kg of narcotic substances were seized from the detainee. According to the investigation, they were intended for subsequent sale.

On June 3, it became known that Colombian Munoz Ramirez Carlos Alberto, known in Russia as Carlos, accused of sending and smuggling drugs on an especially large scale, hoped to transport cocaine hidden in a DJ console and metal springs to Russia.
