"It's outrageous how many defamatory statements have been made, especially by me," he commented on his recent controversial remarks.

Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the Trump administration on June 3, calling it a disgusting abomination. On June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching the current president. Trump, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the easiest way to save money in the state budget. At the same time, the shares of Tesla, owned by the billionaire, fell sharply. Later, Trump said that he did not want to communicate with Musk, as he had "lost his mind."

Musk's father Errol told Izvestia on June 7 that the American leader would be the winner in the conflict between Trump and the entrepreneur. He noted that both Trump and Musk firmly adhere to their principles, which is absolutely normal.
