The State Duma announced a new bill on migration policy

This week, the State Duma (DG) will begin considering a draft law that provides for the transfer of data on migrant children to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was announced on June 9 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
"The bill proposes to oblige regional and municipal education authorities to transfer information about migrant children to the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Among the transmitted information will be the personal data of the child and parents, test results, and information about studying at an educational organization.
Information about the treatment of foreign citizens included in the register of controlled persons will also be transmitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is specified that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also provide educational authorities with data on the registration or registration of children of foreigners.
Volodin added that the bill provides for the entry into the federal information system of information on the results of testing for knowledge of the Russian language of all foreign citizens.
On March 14, Rosobrnadzor approved the minimum number of points for successful Russian language testing by migrant children. It clarifies that the requirements apply to all applicants to schools from 1st to 11th grade.
