"The decision to prepare the strategy was made back in July last year at a meeting in the Kremlin. Speaking about the content of the document, the head of the Russian Maritime Board clarified that it provides an analysis of the global military and political situation, evaluates possible scenarios of armed conflicts, and examines the potentials of the world's leading naval powers. In addition, for the first time, a comprehensive assessment of the current state and combat capabilities of the Russian fleet has been given, taking into account the experience of a special military operation.
