An accident involving a student bus in Malaysia killed 15 people.

At least 15 people were killed and 33 injured in an accident involving a student bus in the city of Gerik in Malaysia. This was reported on June 9 by The Star portal with reference to the Perak State Fire Department.

The bus was heading from Yertikh to Tanjung. On the highway, he collided with a car, after which he overturned. There were 48 people inside the bus, 43 of whom were students.

"Of the 15 dead, 13 died at the scene, and the other two died of their injuries in hospital," the portal said.

It is specified that 14 students and the bus driver were killed. All the injured were hospitalized.
