The Air defense forces destroyed 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territories of seven regions of Russia overnight. This was announced on June 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"During the night of June 9, 49 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.
