Military personnel of the Zapad group of forces destroyed six Starlink satellite communication stations, 42 control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and eliminated up to 230 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past day. This was announced on June 9 by the head of the press center of the Western Group of Forces, Ivan Bigma.
"During the day, the enemy's losses amounted to 230 soldiers. In addition, 42 UAV control points, six Starlink satellite communication stations and three field ammunition depots were destroyed," Bigma told TASS.
According to him, the Russian military also managed to destroy the Ram X barrage ammunition and 17 enemy aircraft-type UAVs. In addition, M-80A infantry fighting vehicles, M-113 armored personnel carriers and a Kozak armored vehicle were eliminated.
He clarified that the Zapad group of forces hit five electronic warfare (EW) stations, nine pontoon stacker vehicles and a robotic complex of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces inflicted fire damage on three mechanized and automobile brigades, as well as four brigades of territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Zelenaya Dolina, Kirovsk, Kupyansk, Olgovka, Peschanovo and Novoselovka.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that assault units of the Vostok group of forces on motorcycles had eliminated firing points at the AFU stronghold in the area of a special military operation.
