The crew of the T-90M "Breakthrough" tank destroyed the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special operation zone

The military personnel of the crew of the T-90M "Breakthrough" tank of the Bashkortostan motorized rifle regiment of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed an accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnolimansk direction in the area of a special military operation with fire from a closed firing position. This was announced on June 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance, the servicemen managed to detect carefully camouflaged positions and a significant concentration of enemy manpower. The coordinates of the targets were transferred to the tank crew, who promptly moved to a pre-prepared firing position. After accurate targeting, the tank opened fire with 125-millimeter high-explosive shells at a target at a distance of more than 10 km, which made it possible to successfully destroy the targets.

"Today we are back. The combat mission was completed at the enemy's stronghold. A platoon of UAVs conducts reconnaissance around the clock, identifies targets, reports to us, and gives us coordinates. Having agreed on them, we are working on them," said the commander of a tank company with the call sign Karakum.

Firing from closed firing positions with constant adjustments by calculations by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) allows tankers to destroy enemy military installations with minimal ammunition consumption, while remaining unnoticed by their counter-battery and aerial reconnaissance equipment for the maximum time.

On June 8, the Ministry of Defense reported that a calculation of FPV drones of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a Polish-made Ukrainian Krab self-propelled artillery system (ACS) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
