Calculations of 2S3 "Acacia" hit the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South Donets direction

Artillery crews of 2S3 "Acacia" of the Vostok group of forces inflicted fire damage on the identified fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonetsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on June 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the strike was carried out at coordinates identified by air and ground reconnaissance. The targets were also shelters for equipment and strongholds of Ukrainian formations.

"Now the main task is to prepare a bridgehead for a further offensive, as well as infantry support in occupied positions," said the chief of artillery of a motorized rifle unit with the call sign Bayonet.

He added that his units repel counterattacks from the enemy and help individual groups of the Russian Armed Forces to build defenses in occupied settlements.
