A partial collapse of an apartment building occurred in Aleysk in the Altai Territory.

In the city of Aleysk, Altai Territory, a partial collapse of the corner part of an apartment building occurred. This was reported on June 9 on the website of the press service of the main regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"Late at night on June 9, it was reported that during the repair work, as well as as a result of the erosion of the foundation, a partial collapse of the corner part of an apartment building located at 156 Serdyuk Street, Aleisk, occurred," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the incident. There is also no threat of further collapse of the building, and the damage affected non-residential premises at the level of two floors of the house. The causes of the incident are being established.

The administration of Aleysk is relocating the residents of the house to temporary accommodation facilities.

Vyacheslav Kwon, the head of the Artyomovsky city district in Primorsky Krai, announced on June 2 the collapse of the gymnasium of school No. 17 in the city of Artyom. The incident occurred during excavation work initiated as part of a major renovation of the building.
