- NWFP will support the bill on the seizure of property of offenders who left the Russian Federation in the second reading

The NWFP will support a bill on the seizure of property of citizens who have committed administrative offenses against the interests of the Russian Federation abroad. Sergei Mironov, the leader of the Fair Russia — For Truth (NWRP) faction in the State Duma, told Izvestia about this.
"Our faction supported this bill in the first reading, and we will also support it in the second. In fact, we are talking about the inevitability of punishment for those "departed" citizens who, while abroad, pour mud on our country. The concept of the bill as a whole is absolutely correct," he said.
Mironov added that in the first reading, the legal department of the State Duma and the relevant Committee on State Construction made comments in order to clarify the list of offenses. The head of the party expressed the hope that by the second reading all proposals will be taken into account.
On May 13, the State Duma approved a draft law on the seizure of property of citizens who violated Russia's interests outside the country in the first reading and decided to amend it by June 11.
