President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to involve NATO in the Ukrainian conflict, because he is aware of the defeat of the Kiev regime. This was stated on June 8 by U.S. Senator (Republican from Alabama) Tommy Taberville during an appearance on the radio station WABC 770 AM.

"There is no doubt about it, because he cannot win this conflict on his own. He understands that he is losing," he said.

Taberville noted that Kiev deliberately sought to escalate hostilities by attacking regions of Russia. He believes that a settlement of the conflict can only be achieved with the help of US President Donald Trump.

"Zelensky is a dictator, he created all kinds of problems [for the United States]. A lot of our money has disappeared, and no one is telling us where it is," the senator added.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on June 7 that NATO and the countries of the European Union (EU) are the main problem on the way to resolving the conflict in Ukraine. In his opinion, they are developing a variety of sabotage and provocations, as well as continuing large-scale arms supplies to Kiev.
