World public opinion will remember Ukraine's refusal to accept the bodies of fallen soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin told Izvestia.

"This shows how uncivilized the current Ukrainian state is, abandoning its own dead. This is inhumane, of course, and there is no future for such a political structure. This will be remembered by the people of Ukraine, Russia and, I think, world public opinion too," Karasin told Izvestia.

Recall that on June 7, Ukraine unexpectedly postponed indefinitely the reception of the bodies of the dead and the exchange of prisoners, said presidential aide and head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky. He stressed that Moscow is ready to work with the Ukrainian side, and the Russian Defense Ministry's contact group is already at the border.
