On June 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of the Russian military committed in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the actions of the guard of Private Zaur Abbasov, who performed combat missions to organize uninterrupted communications in the interests of the battalion tactical group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in conditions of systematic fire. During the battle, as a result of artillery shelling of Russian positions by the enemy, a wired communication line was damaged.

Being in a zone of continuous artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Abbasov overcame several kilometers through dangerous terrain and promptly repaired the damage to the cable, after which he returned to his position and continued to carry out combat missions. The fearless actions of the private guard ensured stable management of the personnel of the battalion tactical group, as a result of which the enemy was forced to retreat.

The Russian Defense Ministry also drew attention to the actions of Corporal Ruslan Aglyamov. As part of the engineering unit, he performed the task of clearing mines and searching for explosive objects in the territories liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was given the task of clearing roads in one of the important tactical areas. The Russian fighter acted as quickly and covertly as possible in the face of the constant threat from Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Aglyamov defused an anti-tank and several anti-personnel mines installed using tripwires. While continuing to mine the area, the corporal discovered an improvised explosive device (land mine) under one of the damaged vehicles, which he deactivated manually. Aglyamov's skill and determination in carrying out the task allowed the group to safely continue moving through the liberated area without losses in personnel and equipment.
