Orban spoke about Hungary's readiness to meet Putin properly

If Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Hungary, he will be greeted properly. This was announced on June 8 by Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with LCI TV channel.
"If he [Putin] wants to come to Hungary, he will be greeted properly," he said in response to a question about his willingness to receive the Russian leader.
On June 6, Orban said that the anti-Russian policy being formed by the European Union (EU) countries is reckless, and Hungary and Slovakia are forming an alliance to counter these measures. In addition, he stressed that Ukraine's membership in the EU can be prevented if countries do not allow Brussels and the Ukrainian side to bring a "puppet government" to power in Hungary.
