The representative of Spain, the second racket of the world Carlos Alcaraz became the winner of the French Open Championship (Roland Garros). The final match took place on June 8 on the clay fields of Paris.

The meeting lasted 5 hours and 29 minutes and became the longest final in the history of the championship. According to Sport-Express, in the final of the tournament, the Spaniard defeated the leader of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Yannick Sinner from Italy in five sets with a score of 4:6, 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (10:2).

Thus, the 22-year-old Alcaraz won the fifth Grand Slam tournament and the second Roland Garros in his career. He previously won the US Open in 2022 and the Wimbledon tournament in 2023 and 2024. In total, the Spaniard has 20 titles in the ATP.

American tennis player Corey Gauff became the champion of Roland Garros 2025 on June 7. In the final, she beat the first racket of the world, the representative of Belarus Arina Sobolenko. The meeting of the athletes lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes, ending with a score 6:7 (5:7), 6:2, 6:4 in favor of Gauff.
