The Dome of Donbass system intercepted 504 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of the DPR in a week

The Donbass Dome electronic warfare system has neutralized 504 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past week. This was announced on June 9 by the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

According to the ministry, 234 drones were intercepted over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and another 270 over Gorlovka. The attack turned out to be particularly intense on June 6, the Day of the Russian Language, when a swarm of FPV drones and flying wing attack drones were launched in the direction of Gorlovka. On that day, 120 devices were neutralized by the system.

It is noted that the Ukrainian forces attempted to strike electrical substations on the outskirts of Donetsk using aircraft-type drones. A Shark-M reconnaissance UAV operating near residential areas was also intercepted in Makeyevka.

Explosives experts from the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia worked at the crash sites of the suppressed drones. All explosive items and components of the drones were seized and destroyed.
