A fire broke out in Gorlovka after an attack by an APU drone


Outbuildings caught fire near residential areas in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic (APU) after an attack by a Ukrainian drone (UAV). This was reported on June 8 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the republic.
According to the agency, the fire started in the afternoon. The fire engulfed outbuildings next to residential buildings. Thanks to the rapid work of firefighters, it was possible to prevent the spread of fire to an apartment building and two more buildings.
There were no casualties as a result of the incident. It is specified that 96 square meters were destroyed in the fire. m of roof, five outbuildings, and 150 sq. m. m of dead wood and debris.
"The fire was extinguished by 11 firefighters and three pieces of equipment of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations," the department's Telegram channel said.
On the same day, a woman was injured in a UAV crash in the Moscow region, and she is currently hospitalized with a wound. The incident occurred in the Ramenskoye city district, where a Ukrainian drone was shot down near the village of Sokolovo-Khomyanovo.
