A child drowned in the river Ucha in the Moscow region


The body of a 7-year-old boy who drowned two days earlier in the Ucha River was found in the Pushkin City district of the Moscow region. This was announced on June 8 by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
According to the supervisory authority, the tragedy occurred on the afternoon of June 6. Two children aged seven and eight entered the water in a place not intended for swimming. One of them was swept away by the current. Search and rescue operations lasted two days, after which the child's body was recovered from the water.
"The Pushkin City Prosecutor's office has taken control of the establishment of the circumstances of the child's death, as well as the progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case initiated by the investigative body on this fact," the agency's Telegram channel clarified.
The prosecutor's office appealed to parents to strengthen control over children and prevent them from staying at reservoirs unaccompanied by adults.
On May 24, it was reported that a seven-year-old girl drowned in the Tuguztemir River in Bashkortostan. After receiving the message, rescuers immediately went to the place. As a result, the deceased child was found 100 m downstream.
