Flooding occurred at Vnukovo airport due to heavy rain

Some flight schedules have been changed due to flooding in Vnukovo due to heavy rain, the airport's press service said.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain, hail and squally winds, roof damage occurred at Vnukovo Airport, which led to flooding inside the terminal. Currently, all possible resources are being used to eliminate the consequences of bad weather and minimize the impact on flight departures," the press service said.

It is noted that all airport services have been switched to an enhanced mode of operation. Some flight schedules have been changed.

Passengers were urged to keep track of flight status information on the official website of Vnukovo Airport and airlines.
