- Zelensky's social networks were filled with angry comments over the abandonment of the bodies of the dead

The social networks of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky were filled with angry comments after reports of Kiev's refusal to take the bodies of dead servicemen.
Internet users expressed outrage that the Ukrainian side did not accept the bodies of the dead, delivered by the Russian Federation to the exchange point. Many comments contain harsh criticism and accusations of inaction.
"Why doesn't Ukraine take our dead soldiers? Why did the refrigerators with their bodies arrive at the exchange point, but no one came from our side or even commented!" wrote one of the users.
Retired Lieutenant Colonel Earl Rasmussen of the US Army called the events "disgusting" and stressed that such an attitude towards the fallen is unacceptable. A similar position was expressed by Austrian analyst Patrick Poppel, who noted that the refusal to adhere to basic moral norms is a sign of decline.
According to political analyst Ivan Mezyuho, the refusal to accept bodies is connected with Kiev's intention to disrupt any agreements. Analysts also point to the economic component: payments to the families of the victims, according to them, could become an additional burden on the budget.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Artyom Dmytruk said that payments for the dead may be deposited with high-ranking officials. German expert Eike Hammer believes that the attitude towards military personnel on the part of the authorities of Ukraine and NATO countries indicates a loss of the value of human life.
"It just shows that ordinary people are viewed by the military-industrial complex and the Ukrainian side of NATO as having absolutely no value — no one thinks about them. Alas, it is precisely such evil forces that we are now facing," added German economist and political scientist Richard Werner.
Yesterday, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed indefinitely the reception of the bodies of dead soldiers and the exchange of prisoners of war. He also called on Ukraine to comply with the agreed schedule and fulfill all the agreements that were reached during the second round of negotiations in Istanbul.
As the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told Izvestia, commenting on Kiev's disruption of the exchange of bodies and prisoners, the Ukrainian authorities profess a misanthropic ideology, they do not need their citizens, either alive or dead.
