The draft resolution on the Iranian nuclear program, which is planned to be submitted by the United States and the European Three countries (France, Germany, Great Britain) at a meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will not bring positive results. This was announced on June 8 by Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna.

"The United States and Eurotroika plan to introduce a draft resolution on this issue. It definitely won't bring positive results," the diplomat wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The June session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency will be held from June 9 to 13 at the agency's headquarters in Vienna.

On June 5, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia could take part in negotiations on the nuclear program between Iran and the United States. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin will join the dialogue if necessary.
