The media reported on Renault's intention to produce UAVs in Ukraine
The French automobile company Renault will produce drones in Ukraine. This was reported on June 8 by France Info Radio, citing sources.
"The French automotive giant Renault will set up production of drones in Ukraine," the article says.
According to France Info, the production of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will be organized jointly with a small French defense company "a few dozen or hundreds of kilometers from the front line."
It is reported that in 2025, the Ukrainian army plans to use over 4 million drones created using modern technologies. Some of the drones produced directly in Ukraine can also be adopted by the French army.
On June 7, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorny announced that a major French automaker, together with a French defense company, intends to organize the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine. According to him, France intends to launch a "completely unprecedented partnership."
